You will appreciate the quality of our work
We think you will find our products second to none in design, quality, materials and craftsmanship.
Design and Craftsmanship
Our products are hand-made and museum quality, done in traditional styles.
Our experienced craftspeople use traditional hand tools, not machines. Each piece is unique; our headdresses are individually created and are true to traditional designs and materials. They are not toys or blue plastic feathers from foreign factories. Materials
The materials come from nature; only certain threads are nylon for added strength and durability.
We use turkey feathers, which we individually trim and dye by hand to look like eagle and hawk feathers. Real glass beads are hand worked by Navajo, Cheyenne and other tribal craftsmen and are composed for authentic appearance. Some war bonnets feature Red Fighting Cock feathers. All feathers are collected, not plucked. The skull cap is hand formed from high quality ladigal leather and wrapped with deerskin trimmed with ermine, in a style going back for centuries. The medicine wheels are made from real porcupine quills by Sioux craftsmen.
Whether you purchase a headdress for a business, school, museum, tribal ceremonies or just to adorn your home, we are confident that you will treasure your artifact and pass it on for generations to come.
